Flew(2002) stated that as a result of the evolution of new media technologies, globalisation occurs.New media is a term meant to encompass the emergence of digital, computerized, or networked information and communication technologies in the later part of the 20th century. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blog)
Most technologies described as "new media" are digital, often having characteristics of being manipulable, networkable, dense, compressible, and impartial. Bloggers who previously wrote endlessly about everything from politics to tech tips, advice and random experiments to the next level by filming and broadcasting their work.
There are 'new trends' that include types of blogs such as MoBlogs, Splogs, Vlogs, etc. Vlogs is a form of blogging for which the medium is video. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vlog).
They are available and simple to everyone in these days.According to Jakab Nielsen, if the website is not easy to use, people simple leave.
However, the most important remaining ingredient of a truly democratized electronic news gathering is neither a kind of hardware nor a variety of software, but a species of literacy.
Futurist Howard Rheingold says the ultimate democratization of the media will not be about technology advances; rather, it will entail upholding old fashioned standards to earn viewers' trust.
